... from my journey. It was quite stressful, because I wanted to make the most of these days. I arrived Thursday at about 20:30 p.m. after roughly 11 hours (the journey back on Monday then 'only' took the planned 9,5 hours). On my way to the hostel I tumbled with my backpack, but luckily my camera was safe enough in her bag.

The island is simply awesome, I definitely want to go back there! The youth hostel is within good reach and quite agreeable. If only they wouldn't serve such a strange tea for supper!

I terribly missed having black tea for supper and had to visit a café to get one.

But I'm really glad, I went on this journey (I thought about selling the ticket).

I've taken many photos (about 800 of possible 1.000). In fact, I walked about for hours taking photos. Apart of this I also wrote 16 postcards (I didn't write any at Christmas and Easter

) and collected some shells and little stones as souvenirs.

And... thank's to my tolerant room mate I could manage to make a sculpture for `
Mollindas 'BEE contest' during my last night, which I photographed the following morning before heading back to my home town. During the last days I felt tired though, too tired to answer on faves and comments...

Within the next days I've got to clear some photos on my hard drive again to have enough space to transfer all the photos I took on my laptop. And then I've got to sort the good ones out.
Contest pimping
I'd like to pimp a contest. Many of you might already know it and some surely have taken part. It's about one image, one week time and your creativity. I'm talking of
the createbyweek weekly contest, run by #
createbyweek, of course. Deadline: you get a new chance every week. Sounds good, doesn't it?

There's a contest hold by one of my new DA friends. If you're a fan of the Art Noveau style, then go and visit `
shelldevils page. She's hosting a
contest to celebrate her 4th year as a stocker on DA. The contest theme is
Mucha!
Deadline is June 29.

One of my oldest DA-friends ~
Cat-in-the-Stock (actually I owe to him and `
UnicornReality the feeling of deviantART becoming a home for me) is also hosting a contest with ~
little-stock themed
A New Dawn. He gives some hints for interpretations yet the interpretation and genre is all up to you! The Closing date is April 30th.

And there's one last contest I'd like to pimp for now. It's hosted by =
Drezdany-stocks and it's theme is
"create a new world" As =
Drezdany-stocks puts it: "Give your fancy full scope. You can create any new animals, flying fishes, a lila meadow, a squared moon or whatever your fantasy showing.". The end date will be April 30th at 12pm CST.
